Petrified of presenting?
Aargh.
You’ve heard it all before:
Just breathe.
Imagine your nerves are actually excitement.
Think of your audience naked (like that ever helped anyone!!!).
The advice is well intentioned but truth is if some people feel a little nervous and some of us are terrorised at the thought of public speaking.
That type of generic advice just doesn’t cut it when your knees are knocking at the front of the room, your sweaty hands are making your notes soggy and your voice is racing like a bullet train.
Even though I worked as a radio reporter and newsreader and then as a communications officer, I was petrified at the thought of public speaking.
Now I ‘enjoy it’ (without the thundering heart, sweaty palms or shaky legs).
In my quest to overcome my fear I invested a lot of time reading books, listening to podcasts, watching videos and paying for courses etc but I couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for so I pulled together my own expertise in coaching, yoga, communications, hypnosis and created something designed to get you results quickly (you’ve got a presentation to prepare!).
